🔹FTTN – फाइबर केबल पास के नोड तक आती है, और फिर वहां से कॉपर केबल के ज़रिए आपके घर के टेलीफोन वॉल सॉकेट तक पहुंचती है। इसके लिए VDSL2 मॉडेम राउटर की ज़रूरत होती है।
🔹 FTTB – फाइबर केबल बिल्डिंग के कम्युनिकेशन रूम तक आती है, फिर वहां से कॉपर वायर के ज़रिए आपके यूनिट तक सिग्नल आता है। इसके लिए भी VDSL2 कंपैटिबल मॉडेम राउटर की ज़रूरत होती है।
🔹 FTTC – यह सबसे नई तकनीक है, जिसमें फाइबर केबल आपकी गली (curb) तक आती है और फिर वहां से घर के अंदर पहले से मौजूद कॉपर केबल से जुड़ती है। इसके लिए एक छोटा बॉक्स (NCD) घर में लगाया जाता है, जो nbn® डिवाइस होता है। आपको इस बॉक्स से अपने राउटर को कनेक्ट करना होता है।
🔹 HFC – अगर आपके क्षेत्र में पहले से केबल नेटवर्क है, तो फाइबर केबल पास के नोड तक आती है और वहां से कोएक्सियल केबल के ज़रिए आपके घर में लगे nbn® डिवाइस (HFC NTD) तक पहुंचती है। आपको अपने राउटर को इस NTD से कनेक्ट करना होता है।

nbn® इंस्टॉलेशन के लिए अपॉइंटमेंट कैसे बुक करें और क्या ज़रूरी है?
nbn® टेक्नीशियन की उपलब्धता के आधार पर अपॉइंटमेंट स्लॉट अलग-अलग हो सकते हैं।
टाइम स्लॉट आमतौर पर दो होते हैं: सुबह 8 बजे से दोपहर 12 बजे तक या दोपहर 1 बजे से शाम 5 बजे तक

अगर आप किराएदार हैं, तो मकान मालिक या अधिकृत प्रतिनिधि उस समय साइट पर मौजूद हो ताकि इंस्टॉलेशन में कोई दिक्कत न आए और सभी उपकरण आपकी पसंद की जगह पर लगें।
तकनीशियन को सभी जरूरी जगहों तक पहुंच होनी चाहिए, जैसे सर्वर रूम या कम्युनिकेशन रूम (अगर आपके घर या ऑफिस में हैं)। कोई परमिट वगैरह चाहिए हो तो पहले से तैयार रखें।
nbn® न्यू डेवलपमेंट चार्ज क्या है?
